Zyp Run Goes Big with Boston Soofa Signs

Zyp Run is the first cannabis delivery service operating in the Greater Boston area. Co-Founded by Elis Omoroghomwan (27) and Gabe Vieira (28) in 2020, Zyp Run has quickly become a recognizable brand in the city due to their unique business strategy and purposeful advertising placements.

They’re currently running a six-month digital and static campaign on Boston Soofa Signs and are already seeing positive impact. We spoke to Elis Omoroghomwan to learn more about Zyp Run’s advertising goals, and why they chose Soofa for their most recent campaign.

 
 

Expanding Their Brand Voice

Zyp Run has worked hard to establish their brand voice through various types of advertising around Boston. They were previously seen on hundreds of waste bins in the city, and they’re currently present on billboards. With certain cannabis advertising restrictions around Boston, Zyp Run knows how to choose locations carefully to reach their intended audience.

For their Soofa campaign, they chose our Brighton-Allston sign, bringing more color and personality to the neighborhood. For their digital creative, they’re running a special discount for people who scan a QR code when seeing the ads. Omoroghomwan said, “Brighton-Allston is one of our most popular zones. So we thought they would be most interested in our services and promotions.”

 
 

Why They Chose Soofa

Since Zyp Run is already a well established business, their advertising goals are about expanding their brand to more people and keeping their current customers coming back. “It's all about brand awareness,” Omoroghomwan said. “I know a lot of people are going to see the ads, and they're just going to ingrain in more people's heads. As long as that happens, that's great.”

Zyp Run’s Soofa campaign is up through this summer, which will help them reach even more people as warmer weather approaches. By the end of their campaign, they’re estimated to receive around 5,500,000 impressions.
