Why I Love Soofa: Jacques de Kock, Lead Developer

We sat down with Jacques, our lead developer, to learn more about why he loves Soofa! 

Originally from South Africa and with a computer science degree from the University of Canterbury, Jacques now finds home in the United States’ Windy City, Chicago. 

Jacques leads the developer team in designing new and innovative ways to efficiently build and maintain the software which powers all of our signs. When asked what brought him to Soofa, he pointed to the passion and motivation that drives each and every member of our team. 

Moving into the new year, Jacques also reflects on the growth he's excited to see in 2022. Focusing on both the pedestrians and landowners, the team is focused on creating greater communities and more accessible resources through our Signs located all across America.
