Soofa City Communication Signs Arrive in the Mountain Region of Summit County, Utah

Summit County, located within the Salt Lake City Metropolitan area of Utah, has brought Soofa Signs to their community known for outdoor recreation. Tourists flock to the region for world-renowned ski resorts like Park City and events like the Sundance Film Festival.

Summit County is focused on providing smoother transportation experiences.

Summit County aims to connect visitors and residents with better wayfinding information using the Soofa Signs. They’ve accomplished this with a custom vinyl, featuring a map of Summit County’s transit lines, and real-time transit updates on the e-ink screen. The Signs help direct people to popular trailheads and ski resorts.

Summit County is the first community in Utah to install Soofa Signs.

“As the first community in Utah to install Soofa Signs, we are thrilled to be partnering with Soofa to strengthen our wayfinding and communications efforts with residents and visitors. Whether it's connecting transit users with High Valley Transit's service map or a list of nearby trailheads, we're committed to helping people reach all that Summit County has to offer." says County Manager Tom Fisher.

Summit County used grant funding to incorporate Soofa Signs into their transit infrastructure.

With initiatives focused on greenhouse gas reduction and renewable electrical energy, our solar powered signs are a perfect fit for this environmentally conscious community.
